Apple devices
- You can download an “Apple connection profile” that will set up your email account automatically
- Choose either “Email only” or “Email, Calendar and Contacts”
- Using your device’s web browser, click one of the links below and log in using your email account credentials (full email address and password)
- Then go to the settings app on the device and select the notification bar to import the downloaded connection profile
All clients (ActiveSync)
- In your mail program or device settings, create a new email account of type “Exchange”
- Provide your full email address and password when prompted
- Calendar and Contacts accounts will automatically appear on the client
- Some version of Outlook will not work with ActiveSync
- Some email clients will not offer an ActiveSync option
Android and desktop clients (IMAP)
- In your mail program or device settings, create a new email account of type IMAP or Internet
- Provide your full email address and password when prompted
- Most clients will auto-detect the settings at this point, but if not the full server details are as follows
- Incoming
- Server: mail.weblite.com.au
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- User credentials are your full email address and password
- Outgoing
- Server: smtp.weblite.com.au
- Port: 465
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Authentication required using same credentials as incoming
Android and some desktop mail clients (Outlook) do not natively support internet-standard Calendar and Contacts servers when you are using IMAP. To access these features on your devices you can either use ActiveSync or install a third-party connector.
